We're Building in Tulsa: Orijin Joins the W.E. Build Accelerator
NewsAug 11, 20251 min read

We have some exciting news to share with our Orijin family: we've been accepted into the W.E. Build accelerator program with Build in Tulsa.

This 15-week program is specifically designed for women entrepreneurs who are often overlooked in traditional funding conversations. Along with $25,000 in non-dilutive funding, we'll receive mentorship, resources, and strategic support to help scale Orijin to the next level. We're joining an incredible cohort of nine other founders building companies across health tech, education, consumer goods, and financial services.

What makes this moment even more meaningful is the timing. Just eight months ago, we found ourselves scattered across the globe—questioning our path, asking tough questions about what Orijin truly meant to us, and wondering if we wanted to continue this entrepreneurial journey. We were honest with you about those struggles, sharing the reality of navigating personal changes while building a business.

Now here we are, taking this significant step forward. The program launched this week and runs through November, giving us focused time to expand our wholesale presence, and strengthen our community connections.

There's something powerful about building in Tulsa—a city with such rich entrepreneurial history, particularly within the Black community. We're honored to be part of this legacy and excited to see what we can accomplish together.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support continues to fuel everything we do.

With love and gratitude,
The Orijin family
