Our Roots Hold

Orijin began in a garden.

During the stillness of the pandemic, we found ourselves together again, surrounded by memories of home. Jasmine reminded us of dusk in Haiti. Hibiscus of the blooms lining our driveway. Castor oil simmered like it always had. We started blending not just products, but stories.

What began as a reconnection became a ritual. And what began as a ritual became Orijin.

meet the family

A mother, daughter, and niece working side by side, across generations to bring our heritage to life through care. We bring medicine, story, and strategy to every ritual, and together, we form the soul of Orijin.

in our language

Orijin (oh-ree-zheen)
Haitian Creole for “origin,” we honor our home and the return to ourselves.

a place of return.

We create skincare that remembers. Each product is a ritual, crafted with Caribbean botanicals, intergenerational wisdom, and honoring the softness and strength passed down through the women in our family.

Orijin is a love letter to where we come from and an offering to everyone who lives between homes, skin states, or moments in life.

what we hold sacred

We believe skincare is cultural. And culture is a form of care. We believe joy is sacred, too. That ritual doesn’t have to be elaborate to be meaningful.

rooted in heritage

We live at the intersection of past and present, where Haitian tradition meets modern skincare. Our ingredients, our rituals, even our spelling carry memory.

Built on family

Our mother-daughter-niece bond is the heart of Orijin. We share rituals, stories, and care. When you use our products, you’re stepping into something generational.

connected by community

Orijin begins with Haiti, but it expands to every person who sees beauty in culture, resilience, and story. We honor our ancestors and invite you into the circle.

guided by nature

In Haiti, the land is healer and teacher. We carry that forward with botanicals like hibiscus and jasmine: potent, culturally meaningful, and gentle. Nothing harsh. Nothing hollow. Just care, rooted in reverence.

celebrated in joy

We believe glow is sacred, too. That beauty is allowed to feel like dancing barefoot, or catching your reflection and smiling. Our rituals honor vibrancy as much as they do stillness.

We're here when you’re ready to return to softness, to glow, to yourself.
